I have been working for 17 years now, so I know what it means to work hard and achieve something. Sometimes we do not even realize how much effort we put into our work or even the small things that make us feel good about ourselves. The most important thing is to find time for yourself every day because if you don't take care of your own needs then who will?

 

I try new recipes every week as part of my job but also because cooking is one of my passions: it relaxes me after a stressful day at work or just gives me something nice to eat when there's no time left over from lunch break (which happens often).

 

I love cooking and I am always looking for something new to try. It doesn't matter if it's a simple recipe or a complicated one, as long as it tastes good and makes my family happy. Welcome 2023.

Hola December 2022. Awal tahun yang penuh dengan cabaran. Maka tahun 2022 pun sudah hampir ke penghujung. Sedikit recap sepanjang tahun.

1)      WFH company baru sampai lah Jun 2022. Pastu start ulang-alik dari Shah Alam ke Bangsar.

2)      Suami dapat kerja dengan Maybank. Masih lagi sampai hari ni.

3)      Anak-anak sihat alhamdullliah. Keluarga pun alhamdulillah

4)      Dapat anak buah baru lagi tahun ni.Anak kedua adik lelaki

5)      Pindah ke rumah sewa sendiri bulan September. Sudah menjengah 3 bulan.

6)      Dll dah lupa pula. ^_^

Hola 2022, please be kind to me. Macam biasa aje ayat macam ni kedengaran. Jadi, kita follow trend la untuk phrase ni. Please be kind. Iye betul. Perjalanan hidup semakin mencabar. Mungkin ada orang dah banyak settle down fasa hidup mereka. Alhamdulillah pada yang mendapat rezeki begitu. Syukur syukur syukur. Ada orang (I ke tu) masih lagi mencari-cari tapak impian yang belum sampai lagi. Berjayakah? Terlalu awal untuk berserah.

I berharap tahun 2022 akan menjadi tahun bertuah di mana segala jerih perih, kesusahan, kepayahan dapatlah beransur-ansur diringankan. Dah start buat budgeting untuk fasa beberapa tahun akan datang. Seandainya diajukan soalan, eh cukup ke dua anak? Tak nak tambah? I hanya boleh kata. Bergantung dengan rezeki aturan Allah SWT. Kalau disisiNya anak dua sudah memadai. Alhamdulillah alhamdulillah alhamdulillah atas segala kurniaan ini. Akan tetapi kalau ada rezeki bertambah lagi baik, Alhamdulillah juga di situ. Tambah takpe, tak tambah pun takpe. Depo cukup masa kita cucuk.. Hahahaha oops.

Happy End Year 2021

 Haish.. dah nak habis tahun. Bersawang sudah my blog ni ha.. Post pertama tahun January dulu. Sekarang ni akhir tahun baru ada masa nak jengah. Busy sungguh my life ni. Hari ni ambil sedikit kesempatan untuk mencoret sepanjang tahun ini berjalan.

Awal tahun tak berapa ingat sangat kejadian. Cuma di awal Mac, daripada customer service exec bertukar menjadi Tenancy Exec ( sorry jawatan tak tukar tapi job scope tukar). My beloved boss Mr A dah tukar jadi Mr J. Dah terbiasa dengan cara Mr A jadi untuk masuk style Mr J, I rasa cannot go. Bukan tak cuba tapiiii... Ok tak mau further cakap. Dah lepas pun...

Bulan seterusnya macam biasa la kerja, ambil anak kerja, eh lupa ada WFH ke tak. Macam ada. Ada kot.. Ye ye ada, bulan Sept masuk balik. Baru lah full spektrum job scope baru tu boleh pergi. Tapi dalam masa sama haish dapat tau company macam sakit sakit pulak payment dia, kena keja half month potong gaji. Ahh sudah, macam mana. Buat la job side income business karipap frozen. Every week Alhamdulillah order masuk dengan gigihnya, I buat manual karipap pusing frozen. Life is not easy la kan, mana boleh duit jatuh dari sky like twinkle twinkle little star tu.

Somewhat October tiberr ade makhluk mana call I ingatkan scammer mana nak pow I, rupa-rupanya recruiter gigih stalking LinkedIn i ajak interview. I pun gigih juga stalking company ni kot2 nipu je kejenya.. Oh, nasib baik genuine. Interview pun pakai online, sememey je merapu ape cakap Mandarin.. Haahaha. ye la boss atas yang interview I tu daripada China Mainland, sorang pulak lagi daripada asal Thai. Stakat nak balas, wo keyi, wo zhidao, last last kalo balas pekat sangat i pilih save phrase " wo bu mingbai ler". Tak sangka, 3 sentences guna ni terus.. "When can u start on board?" I pun sap sap sui je la, after 1 month notice I can join the team.. Sebulan kemudian, here I am. Kalau dah rezeki kan... 

Bila dah masuk zone keje baru ni, I start keje WFH as really WFH. No kidding pura-pura macam kat ex company. Concentration untuk buat kerja sambil watching lappy i selalu tak sedar dah lunch time. Itu lah dia. Of course dia bagi padan dengan salary kan. That one tak boleh nak complain. Take it or u leave it.

Itu jelah kot update akhir tahun. Moga-moga ada rezeki untuk update lagi di sini next year which is tomorrow.. Chow. 

Happy Ney Year 2021

 

Happy New Year 2021 and here we go. Still doing this little blogging stuff. Tak banyak pun sikit-sikit jadi lah. Recap for the year 2020, Covid 19 pandemic telah menyebabkan masa berlalu dengan pantas. Sedar-sedar sahaja dah masuk tahun baru. Tahun lepas of course paling banyak cuti or work from home. Diri ini masih bersyukur kerana masih mempunyai pekerjaan. Alhamdulillah.

Keluarga so far sihat-sihat. Myself masih lagi stay with the in laws, for approximately hmm hmm ( counting ) 5 years.. Oh My Gosh, sangat cepat masa berlalu. Abah dah pencen. Dah balik kampung dah pun. Dorang sekarang ni dah duduk kat negeri Kelantan. No more balik Perak terms.

Kakak nadra tahun ni dah nak masuk pre-school. Dia baru 4 tahun di alam 5 tahun. Bunda harap awak dapat menempuh alam pre school dengan jayanya standing kawan-kawan sebaya. Adik Zaeem dah start mengira versi dia. Cuma bila no 7 tiba-tiba silent. Silalah jangan double standard no 7 adik. Tu nombor kegemaran bunda.

From time to time ada tempahan kek cheesecake. Buat suka-suka aje pada mulanya. Kemudian ada yang nak order. Cheesecake tu selalunya I buat saiz 2kg. Kalau ada permintaan nak saiz kecil kita turuti la. Kan customer always right.

Hola, sudah lama tidak bersiaran di arena ini. Tahun 2020 adalah tahun yang penuh mencabar. Dengan Covid19, satu Negara kena PKP. Tak boleh berjumpa keluarga. Raya pun kena sesama sendiri. Oh Em Gee. Sesungguhnya ganjaran sabar adalah untuk orang orang beriman.

Tahun ni ada few things that buat myself feel unhappy. But I think I have to move on. Kena luahkan juga supaya hati ni lega. Berkenaan hal friendship. Myself is not a person yang ada ramai kawan so called “sahabat” @BFF. I’ve been very picky di mana hanya orang tertentu sahaja yang layak berdamping dalam kategori sahabat. I Cuma kekalkan few friends yang I fikir ada kualiti untuk I jadikan seseorang tu penting dalam hidup. Tetapi adakalanya, kita ni “syok sendiri” juga. Kita yang merasakan bahawasanya mereka itu adalah bff sedangkan mereka tak anggap pun macam tu. Kalau la myself boleh sedar seawal nya takdela diri ini rasa seperti kebodohan.

Losing friend especially bff memang macam pengalaman broke off dengan boyfren. Dalam hati bertanya juga, why? Selaluya tak ada jawapan. Isunya mungkin agak kecil kedengaran. Tetapi menjadi sensitive di hati kerana kita menganggap mereka itu penting. Kerana merasakan mereka itu pentingla, kita update apa2 hal dalam kehidupan kita from time to time sebagai satu ukhuwah. Fasa berkahwin, fasa hamil sekadar untuk berkongsi berita, fasa dapat anak untuk mengumumkan kita sudah ada si kecil dalam hidup. Yeah, sebab kita dah tak mampu untuk berjumpa seperti dulu2. Kerana masing-masing sudah terikat dengan komitmen & tanggungjawab. Seringkali juga myself berfikir positif, anggap semua ini bagai angin lalu. Kerana itu juga I merasakan agak terkesan untuk melihat seseorang itu lebih drp sekadar kawan biasa. I mula bias untuk jadi lebih rapat dengan sesiapa lagi.

I pernah ada broke off friendship a few times. Sakit tu dah lupa dah, Cuma dia menjadi awkward bila mereka muncul kembali. Myself feel like, it’s ok. Past was just a past. I Cuma perlu melihat mereka seperti jendela, but to start to go deeper like before I must paused. Don’t go beyond. Especially kebanyakan communication di alam maya. I don’t want to be “syok sendiri” anymore. Mereka sendiri sudah ada bff depan mata. Myself being disadvantage becoz we’re not real. We’re just in the cyber. Banyak perkara dalam cyber kita fake kan for the sake people look how well we are. But the truth is kita sama aja like other family having our own bad matters.

Feeling how lonely when we in marriage is not a “lonely” with our spouse. Its mean that the “lonely” term referring to as a wife at the same time being a “mother” & also sometimes a “daughter in law, being dedicated to our family make us don’t have time to be with our old friends. Especially when the kids are still young that required a lot of attention. Sekarang using term “me time”. Sounds macam senang, tapi tak sesenang mana. It’ depending on how cooperative you spouse can become.

Pitbull Story

Cerpen Bunda : Berkarya hanya bila jiwa kacau

Sebuah kisah kerajaan di mana segalanya diperintah oleh anjing. Daripada raja sehinggala pak menteri, dayang dayang pewara, biduanda, hamba rakyat jelata semuanya anjing. Macam macam jenis, tapi yang memerintah tu sejenis PitBull. Raja Pitbull ( a.k.a anjing baka ni la ) sangat lah garang. Meleleh air liur kalo tak kena gaya. Sekali menyiat sampai ke tulang tak ada sisa. Menteri pasola anjing semua tak berani nak lawan tokey dengan Raja Pitbull ni. Raja Pitbul punye ratu hati dia ialah Queen Pomeranian ( sejenis baka anjing lawa nak mampus). Kisah percintaan Raja Pitbull dengan Queen Pomeranian ala lebih kurang macam citer Princess Disney juga la. Cuma beza nyan Queen Pomeranian ni jadi rebutan antara Pitbull, German Sherpard, Husky, Great Dane. Huh, pergaduhan rebutan yang menumpahkan darah pahlawan ( ceh, exaggerate  sungguh ). Akhirnya Raja Pitbul yang menjadi juara sekaligus menambat hati Queen Pomeranian. Tamat flashback story.

Terkini Raja Pitbul merasakan bahawasanya sudah tiba masa untuk dia pergi mencari diri. Iyelah kan bila dah berada di puncak kejayaan  ni walaupun rasa macam serba serbi ada. Harta melimpah, queen lawa, negeri makmur rakyat mewah tapi jauh di sudut hati Raja Pitbul macam ada something missing inside his heart. Sugul baginda dua tiga hari ni sampai sup tulang favourite pong tak abis nak makan. Queen Pomeranian juga berasa hairan. Apa yang mengganggu fikiran hubby tercinta. Eh, takkan pasal dorang masih belum ada cahaya mata untuk mewarisi tahta. Queen Pomeranian masih belum bunting walaupun dah bertahun-tahun anniversary.

Semasa berdua lebih baik, slowly Queen Pomeranian berbisik di telinga hubby nya..

“Babe, I tengok u unhappy je 2, 3 hari ni. Why babe? I sudah gemok ke? “

Raja Pitbull pandang wifey nya atas bawah.. Berkerut seketika : “Beta tengah sugul dia bleh buat lawak plak. Nasib baik lawa, lawak tu boleh terima”

“No honey. I’m ok je”

“Babe, don’t lie to me. I tengok ekor u gerak gerak camtu pong dah tau u punye hati takde senang. Now tell me my king.”

“I feel …. “ Raja Pitbull diam.. masih berfikir fikir patut ke tak patut cakap.

Queen Pomeranian rasa gundah. Karang dia minta nak mengawan dengan breed lain, sedih queen. Tau la takde anak lagi. Tapi takkan sebab itu nak ngawan lain. Oh, minta minta la jangan nak request yang itu.

“Babe… cakaplah. I sudi dengar.. “ dup dap dup dap berdenyut jantung Queen Pomeranian.

“Honey, I rasa I nak gi mengem….."

“wan…. “ Queen tunggu je perkataan “..wan” di belakang tu muncul.

“Mengem…..bara” sambung Raja Pitbul..

“Fuuhh, mengembara.. Nasib baik bukan mengawan..” Queen sedikit lega tapi terkejut juga.

“Mengembara…? Jeng jeng jeng. Ke mana?... Jeng  jeng jeng… Kenapa?.... Jeng jeng jeng” Tanya Queen Pomeranian impatiently.

“Honey, I feel u, I feel glory, I feel everything. But deep inside I feel empty, I feel nothing.. That’s why, I nak mengembara. Mencari jatidiri Pitbull yang hilang.” Raja Pitbul menjawab dengan emosi. Tisu juga baginda dalam diam. Ingatkan garang memanjang.

All is urs, bukti bahawasanya cinta I pada U setakat bagi tahta takde hal. Small matter my honey” Offer yang diberi oleh Raja Pitbul tu membuatkan Queen Pomeranian panasaran. Shud I be happy or shud I worry? Ni dah macam bagi wasiat je ni. Dalam kerisauan dan kegundahan Queen Pomeranian menerima keputusan Raja Pitbull dengan berat hati.

Raja Pitbul memanggil semua menteri pasola berhimpun di balai penghadapan. Semua menteri bersegera berhimpun.

“Ampun tuanku Raja Pitbull yang hebat. Gerangan apakah halnya Tuanku men”summon” kami as at 3.00am ni?” PM Border Collie bertanya on behalf.

“Sorry memanda sekalian beta mengganggu kalian sleeping beauty. Beta ada announcement penting nak buat ni” Raja Pitbull mengeluarkan perintah.

Semua menunduk dengan penuh tekun mendengar  titah Raja Pitbull.

“Tomorrow, beta nak keluar mengembara di padang pasir. Tak pasti bila nak balik. So dalam sepurnama kalo takde berita tentang beta, menyusul la kalian. So, sepeninggalan beta nanti tahta ni hand over kat Queen Pomeranian. Just follow her instruction and instagram. Also the Tweeter. Queen akan banyak bagi instruction dalam tu. Rajin rajin la buka Tweet. Beta pun akan Like juga.”

Semua menteri terkejut. Tapi tetap akur dengan perintah Raja Pitbull. Besoknya selepas matahari terbit, Raja Pitbull bersiap siap melengkapkan diri baginda untuk memulakan pengembaraan yang julung julung kali dilakukan sendirian itu. Beserta dengan kelengkapan asas selepas bertukar tukar pesanan dengan Queen, comolot etc bagai, Raja Pitbull memulakan ekspedisi mencari dirinya.

Hari berganti hari berganti pekan hinggalah genap sepurnama Queen merindui hubbynya. Check instagram dan tweeter pun takde update. Last checked in kat oasis padang pasir  mana ntah. Itu pun dua pekan sebelumnya. Teringat pesanan Raja Pitbull, kalau sepurnama tak ada khabar berita pergilah menyusul. Tanpa bertangguh Queen Pomeranian memanggil PM Border Collie mengumpulkan skuad elit anjing pengesan terbaik untuk menjejak hubby Raja Pitbull iaitu Liutenant Golden Retriever untuk menjejaki Raja Pitbull.  Golden Retriever berjaya menyusul dan menjejaki Raja Pitbull malangnya ketika tiba di sana, di dapati Raja Pitbull sudahpun mangkat. Dalam kondisi perut kembung, lidah terjelir. Harta perbendaharaan tidak terusik. Panas terik kawasan kering kontang. Botol air bekalan masih penuh. Bekalan makanan pun masih lagi mencukupi. Ubat ubatan pun masih ada. Tiada unsur unsur rompakan berlaku.

Soalannya; Apakah punca kematian Raja Pitbull? Sesiapa yang dapat memberikan hampir tepat dengan skema jawapan bunda, mereka itu adalah genius. Jangan bagi jawapan sudah sampai ajalnya. Itu tidak dikira. Aher aher aher… ^_^

Term “Express…”

Hola everybody. Dah lama tak bersiaran di sini. I pun selalu takde inspirasi nak taip topic apa. Hari ni kita crita topic express. Iye la, zaman sekarang semua perkara nak kena express. Lebih lebih lahi untuk ibu yang bekerja. Semua perkara nak kena siap cepat, langkah pun kena pantas. Point kat sini sebagai ibu yang bekerja selalu rasa nak sediakan menu menarik untuk santapan keluarga. Selalu ada kekangan masa tak sempat nak itu nak ini. Kadang balik dah kepenatan nak sambung layan anak anak, suami, masak dan etc.

                I pun tak menafikan ada juga mengalami situasi sebegitu. I suka masak. Selalu nak cuba masak masakan yang I tak pernah cuba. Maksudnya mencuba resepi baru,  mengolah resepi mengikut barang yang ada kat rumah. Lebih lebih bila dah anak anak yang masih kecil, masa memasak kat dapur kena compress jadi sesingkat mungkin untuk siapkan hidangan supaya dapat cepat makan. Sangat sangat challenging tau kalau nak masak sambil kena perhatikan anak anak kat depan sedang buat apa especially kalau ada nak yang tengah aktif merangkak plus suka pula mengutip benda untuk dimasukkan ke mulut. Tengah potong bawang tiba tiba anak dah amik habuk lagi 3 saat dia terus nak masukkan ke dalam mulut. Bergegas la si ibu berlari- lari menjerit jerit “ No…!” dengan harapan anak tu tak masukkan ke mulut. Tapi tau lah kan budak kecik, apa dia kisah. ^_^!

                So bila namanya express ni, tempoh memasak kat dapur bagi seorang ibu yang ada beberapa anak kecil ni semestinya kenalah singkat. Masa ni term supermom, multitakingmom, dan macam macam term lagi akan jadi motivation factor bagi seorang ibu bila nak masak. I la salah sorang yang macam tu. Bila I masuk dapur sekarang, segala teknik resepi orang orang dulu kata nya resepi tu boleh jadi aunthentic  or resepi padu I kena lempar jauh jauh kalau process dia sungguh complicated dan renyah. I takut tak boleh nak cope masa memasak dengan melihat anak anak. But still kalau nak makan benda benda macam tu, I kena come out with alternative copypaste look alike resepi tapi guna cara express.

                Kalau I masak lauk berkuah seperti kari, varuval, kurma, sup, sambal, rendang,  tomyam, kuah percik mcm ayamas, perapan ayam, etc, I akan blender sekali dengan minyak bersama dengan bahan bahan kisar. I tak guna air. Based on observation kalau blender ni dengan air, for me dia amik masa lama untuk pecah minyak. Plus, terpercik percik ke dapur I tak suka. Dan berisiko kalau I masak sambil dukung anak. Solution blender dengan minyak, rempah tu kurang memercik plus dia cepat masak. Mengikut kajian I la bila di dapur I suka observe kaedah mana paling cepat dan sedap.

                Kita kena tanamkan dalam diri yang memasak untuk keluarga ialah satu perkara yang menyeronokkan. Lebih puas hati bila lihat ahli keluarga makan dengan berselera. Pujian tu datang ke belakang la, bukan hadap sangat dengan pujian. Walaupun I ni suka memasak, I makan pun tak seberapa. Mungkin sebab dah ambil bau kot.

                So kat sini I nak highlightkan kita sebagai ibu yang bekerjaya ni tak perlu rasa rigid sangat nak memasak follow resepi bagai nak stress. Just go with the flow, cooking with your heart. Dalam resepi  ade barang A, dan  kat rumah xde barang A, tak perlu pening pening, pakai apa yang ada. Kalau yang tak berapa biasa di dapur , ambil masa bersesuaian dengan diri. Masak tak perlu pressure. Takperlu nak potong bawang secantik mungkin, kalau kopek bawang ade tertinggal selapis kulit, xpe.  Tak mati pun kalo ade selapis kulit bawang terlekat. Let it be je. Bukan nak masuk pertandingan masterchef. Cuma agak agak la kalo tak kopek lansung.. ^_^

                Kalau orang kondem gaya atau cara kita masak masakan tu salah, tak payah kita rasa down sangat. Mana yang rasa boleh ambil panduan tu kita ambil lah. Orang yang suka kondem tu kadang kadang lagi teruk daripada kita pun. Iyelah, salah sendiri tak pernah nak mengaku. Salah orang laju je dia marking. Orang macam ni kalau sakit tengkuk pun dia salahkan bantal. Jadi, kita biarkan dia terjun dengan labu labunya. Dan biarlah kita berbahagia dengan cara kita, betul tak? Kalau kita rasa nak masak gulai ikan, ikan tu nak masuk dulu ke kemudian ke, suka hati la sebab kita yang akan makan kan? Pendapat orang yang kondem tu tak penting nak masuk kamus sentap hidup kita. Yang paling penting ahli keluarga kita gembira bila makan masakan kita.

I should throw in the Muzium

Siri repek entry hari ni I nak membebel pasal PC tempat keje I. Seriously I nak  komen memang patut kena letak kat muzium. Uollz bygkan lah, sila tengok screenshot ni. OS yang dipakai masih lagi XP… Hallooooo, XP tahun 2002  dear ladies and gentleman. Sekarang ni dah tahun  2019. Tahun depan dah Wawasan 2020 ( eh, masih ada lagi ke?).  I sebagai alumni Computer Science course / programming merasakan ke”M.A.L.U”an yang teramat besar kerana terpaksa mengkhianati ke oldskoolan OS fan follower. I dah OUTDATED thanks to my company. T_T

Hari hari I kena update MIS team ( IT team la ) untuk kasi tau bahawasanya my PC always IP Conflict dgn Huawei Technologies.  Tah sape punye hp pegi rembat my IP address. So hari hari clash. Nak buat keje sangkut, browsing sangkut, emailing sangkut and ezektra. Kejap ya, I pause entry dulu. I siapkan my kerja hakiki b4 I sambung entry bebelan. I’ve got a lot of stuff nak bebel. Paused at 9.36am

Now resumed at 12.08pm. V dah pun keluar lunch awal. Dia akan jaga balik time 1pm masa orang lain keluar lunch. Meanwhile sebelum  ada orang ganti, I dulu yang ganti sekejap. But selalu nya tak sekejap la dan I selalu generous cover sampai nak masuk lunch. Kalau I takde keje takpela. Ok cut pasal polanah ni. What ever her attitude yang kurang baik tu I hadap je la dulu. Kifarah akan ada. U buat orang macam tu, tak consider orang banyak tolong, fikir diri sendiri aja, tak apa lah. Buat orang kecil hati, u take it la. But balasannya dapat kat sudut lain. Dapat boss yang akan bagi lagi banyak keje, dapat pressure yang tah apa apa, buat apa-apa orang tak appreciate, those thing la u akan dapat. I tak rugi apa apa. Niat I selalu nak mudahkan semua orang. Tapi kalau orang suka buat susahkan orang, akan mendapat la. Tak perlu nak membalas. Sendiri akan dapat mende mende tak best. Myself is chill chill je.

Sila fahami kadang kadang I rasa nak meroyan bila time nak cepat, ada hal nak buat keje, pada time tu juga PC tak boleh pakai. Stress gak untuk bende bende yang tak perlu. Mula la nak diver t perasaan tak puas hati dengan melihat lihat di hp. Tup tup itu time juga boss nak lalu. Maka berlakulah cengkerik di situ 3X krik. Pada fikiran boss, staff ni asyik tengok hp aje. Asal lalu je tengok hp, asal lalu je pandang hp. Padahal baru sentuh tak sampai seminit. Baru nak bace komen pertama makcik bawang. Tak sempat nak Like lagi. Dah kantoi di situ.. Puncanya ialah PC with IP address conflict and it caused me another conflict.  Padan muka diri sendiri ^_^
